Since its foundation, RTi Group has accomplished numerous milestones. Product innovation, hard-working employees and increased visibility in the global marketplace have been our core themes in recent decades.

RTi has been actively engaged in civil engineering works for more than 50 years. RTi boasts a success record of 35 years in the inspection and trenchless rehabilitation of pipelines and piping systems.

2016

In the framework of a management buyout in early 2016, the acting management team acquired a 100% interest in SEKISUI SPR Construction and SEKISUI SPR Europe.

2014

In the wake of a merger, SPR TEC Europe GmbH became SEKISUI SPR Europe GmbH (Germany). SPR TEC changed its name into SEKISUI SPR Europe GmbH, Sales & Engineering Office (Altenberg branch) and was spun out of SEKISUI SPR Construction group.

2013

Rabmer Holding changed its name into SEKISUI SPR Construction GmbH and Rabmer Rohrtechnik became SEKISUI SPR Austria GmbH. The name change also affected all other subsidiaries of Rabmer Rohrtechnik group.

2012

The name change from r.tec to SPR TEC Europe GmbH coincided with the concentration of the entire European distribution network of pipe rehabilitation products. Sekisui acquired a 100% interest in the Rabmer pipe rehabilitation group.

2011

Rabmer pipe rehabilitation group (in which the Japanese industrial group Sekisui holds a 75% interest) and Rabmer Bau group (in which Ulrike Rabmer-Koller holds a 100% interest) split into separate companies.

2010

rabmer Rohrtechnik GmbH & Co KG was incorporated into rabmer Rohrtechnik GmbH.

2009

The company r.tec GmbH started its business in Austria, thus laying the foundation for the sales expansion of Rabmer pipe rehabilitation materials and technologies. Rabmer Bau- und Inst. GmbH & Co KG changed its name into Rabmer Rohrtechnik GmbH & Co KG.

2008

The company r.tec GmbH started its business in Austria, thus laying the foundation for the sales expansion of Rabmer pipe rehabilitation materials and technologies. Rabmer Bau- und Inst. GmbH & Co KG changed its name into Rabmer Rohrtechnik GmbH & Co KG.

2005

The company sold its interest in Norditube to the second major shareholder Chevalier.

2002

The group of companies was reorganised in November 2002 and Rabmer Bau- und Installationsges.m.b.H. became Rabmer Holding GmbH.

2001

Close collaboration with Technologies AB, producer of liners for Process Phoenix based in Sweden, in the development of new pipe rehabilitation systems.

1996

The DIGIKAN software was translated into several languages (English, Italian, Hungarian and Czech) and also sold abroad. GISDAT was placed in charge of selling the software to local councils in Austria.

1995

A special resin for pipe rehabilitation works was developed and sold throughout Europe.

1993

A partial pipe rehabilitation system was developed.

1990

The company acquired an exclusive licence to adopt the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining technique Process Phoenix in Austria and Hungary. A specialised sewer database (Digikan) was developed, which allowed to “streamline” the flow of data collected during sewer TV inspection for the development of rehabilitation concepts.

1989

The company acquired an exclusive licence to adopt the close-fit lining method developed in the US in Austria. This method was further advanced over the years, with machinery and equipment also being sold to other licensees.

1988

Another focus in the field of green technologies was trenchless pipe rehabilitation, where the company positioned itself as a pioneer in Europe.

1984

The company was one of the first in Austria to focus on green technologies and began to offer pipe inspection services by using high-tech TV cameras. These services were the first to allow the identification of defects in sewer systems.

1963

Josef und Maria Rabmer founded the company, which was then specialising in earthworks, drainage systems and river training operations.
